“After receiving City approvals, we found our design was to costly to build. Mr. Wright went back to the City and got our approvals revised which saved us hundreds of thousands of dollars.”

Hamilton Field, Novato, CA

Hamilton Field is a complete new community redeveloped at a former military based. This new community includes a broad range of housing opportunities, office, commercial, retail, recreation and community areas. After the property languished in controversy for more than 18 years, Mr. Wright teamed up with Goldman, Sachs & Co and The Martin Group to create community consensus and received approval of the master plan in less than 18 months. This remains the largest single approval ever completed in Marin County, CA.

Vault Self Storage, South Gate, CA

Vault Self Storage in South Gate, Ca is located directly next to a for-sale town home community which was very interested in any change that could potentially effect their property values. We worked directly with a large group of home owners to understand and address their concerns. We made adjustments to the plan which gained the community’s support and kept the economics in place.

Oakview Office Building, Novato, CA

Oakview Office building is a new office building for a local family/company in Novato, CA. Working with the City staff and neighbors we were able to address the community’s concerns which for this project was traffic safety and a nearby intersection. We developed a restriping and protected turn lane solution within the existing roadway that gained the support of the neighbors at a very affordable cost to the project.

Newport & Sunny Cove, Novato, CA

Newport and Sunny Cove is a single family neighborhood of 238 homes, the largest neighborhood approved in Marin County. Mr. Wright obtained the tentative map and precise plan approval in less than 12 weeks, from submission of application to the City staff to City Council vote.

Heirloom Storage, Novato, CA

Heirloom Self Storage called for the City of Novato to approval a change of use of an industrial property directly adjacent to single family homes. We worked closely with the local home owners association to redevelop this industrial property into a quite productive facility that the community approved.

Park Day School, Oakland, CA

Mr. Wright and the RESSINC team provided advisory services to Park Day School as part of a conversion project. Mathida Brown Home for Women was constructed in 1926 and served for eighty years as a non-profit nursing facility. In 2007, the property was converted to allow the Lady’s Home Society to sell their real estate asset and use those resources to provide care for their members and allow Park Day School to expand its school site. We obtained the necessary discretionary approvals from the City of Oakland.

Kensington Place Apartments, Sunnyvale, CA

Kensington Place apartments is a high density, 186 unit community located in Sunnyvale, CA. A former trucking terminal was to be converted to apartments which would increase property values in the neighborhood. However, the adjacent property held a senior mobile home community that was concerned that rising property values could threaten the redevelopment of their property. Working with the seniors to address noise, visual, construction and other issues, the project was approved by the City Council without a single objection from the neighborhood.
